Nobel Peace Prize has never been the a key factor to the world's peace, never. This year Maryam Mirzakhani from Iran won the fields prize for math and surprise surprise no one has given a rat's ass. Malala had stood up against the devils on God's green earth all by herself and with the best possible weapon, her writing unlike our world leaders. That's may not be enough but she has spoken where we in our country feared to talk against Mullahs. We try not to agonize them by not passing women's rights laws and what not
We can always sit back and admit with great sensitivity that life isn't fair and less-advantaged are destined to their lot in life. The problems of those on the other side of the world should stay there. Our leaders are cynical and can never be the instrument to change. But my friend it's not worthy of you. It's not worthy of a great leader, which none of us will be. It's not worthy of a great nation, which certainly we are not.
So, stop bragging about the peace prize and think for a moment what have you done to change the course of today's derailed humanity. Malala being in worst possible environment, well it's Pakistan, didn't sit back and blame fate for her misfortune. She stood up and speak. She speaks for women's right of education.
She has got it for her courage. She has got it for not sitting back. She has got it when, you sit idly and talk about others instead of ideas. I congratulate her and Mr. Kailash Satyarthi for getting it this time.
N.B: We don't respect who has got it in our country at all, so why do we care if they gave it to someone else. Why at all?
