Time glides on,
Never ending time,
Stretching to infinity,
To the never seen sublime,
The greatest mystery,
That knows only to move on,
Ah! The time goes on.
We all learn,
As we move ahead,
We age, becoming sages,
But alas! Then we are dead,
All through the ages,
How we yearn and yearn!
Till there’s nothing left to burn.
We strive hard,
We pledge to ourselves,
We dream of heap of Gold,
We strive to be magical elves,
We stay young though we grow old,
Of Life every soul is a bard,
Composing and singing like a bird.
We slowly die,
Not knowing the end has come,
Not knowing Life is but a void,
All things offered are numb,
This beauteous earth is steroid,
No reason to cry,
No reason to ask why.
Time, it kills,
The strength, the dreams, the love,
Growing old is our destiny,
Destined, ordained from above,
Too vast, yet too small is the Sea,
Yet everyone wills,
With hopes, Life one fills.
