The soft wind blows, cool is the air,
Chirping of birds around the lake,
The leaves shaking with joy, I’d make
This afternoon full of meaning, fair.
The sun is dim, the soothing glow he’s giving,
Walking by the lake I see his smile,
I sit by the bank, amidst green trees awhile,
See the love that the receivers receiving.
People walking around, company with many,
Life is here, the calm, the soothing stream.
The sun’s shy now, it’s become red and dim,
Many faces of many lives I see.
Like a snake the time moves,
Slowly, hidden, invisible around,
The darkest mystery that man has found,
To make us crave for life it loves.
How fast the noon of life comes,
The sun becomes dim, noon goes away,
Time goes on, night covers the day,
Still life is here; here I must build my homes.
