উইন্ডোজের বিভিন্ন সুযোগ-সুবিধা, বিভিন্ন আপ্লিকেশনে শুধু রান কমান্ড দিয়ে খুব সহজেই যাওয়া যায়। এতে অনেক সময় বাঁচে। নিচে তেমনই কিছু রান কমান্ড দেওয়া হলো।
প্রথমে উইন্ডোজ কি+R চেপে সরাসরি রান-এ যেতে হবে। এরপর নির্দিষ্ট কমান্ড দিয়ে সরাসরি যেকোনো প্রোগ্রামে যাওয়া যাবে।
 ক্যালকুলেটর খুলতে করতে calc লিখে এন্টার করুন।
 যেকোনো ড্রাইভে যেতে c:, d:, e: এভাবে লিখে এন্টার করুন।
 বিভিন্ন চিহ্ন খুঁজে পেতে charmap লিখে এন্টার করুন।
 পাওয়ার অপশনে যেতে powercfg.cpl লিখে এন্টার করুন।
 রেজিস্ট্রি এডিটরে যেতে regedit লিখে এন্টার করুন।
 রিমোট ডেস্কটপে যেতে mstsc লিখে এন্টার করুন।
 কন্ট্রোল প্যানেলে ঢুকতে লিখে control এন্টার করুন।
 ডিস্ক ক্লিনআপ চালু করতে cleanmgr লিখে এন্টার করুন।

 রিজিয়ন অ্যান্ড ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ এডিটরে যেতে intl.cpl লিখে এন্টার করুন।
 স্টার্ট আপ মেন্যুতে যেতে msconfig লিখে এন্টার চাপুন।
 হার্ডডিস্কের বিভিন্ন ড্রাইভ লুকানোসহ বিভিন্ন কাজে gpedit.msc লিখে এন্টার চাপুন।
 ইন্টারনেট প্রোপার্টিজ দেখতে inetcpl.cpl লিখে এন্টার চাপুন।
 অন স্ক্রিন কি-বোর্ড চালু করতে osk লিখে এন্টার চাপুন।

For a selected object:
F2: Rename object
F3: Find all files
CTRL+X: Cut

To copy a file

Press and hold down the CTRL key while you drag the file to another folder.

F4: Selects the Go To A Different Folder box and moves down the entries in the box (if the toolbar is active in Windows Explorer)
